KLESZCZ EXPERT (TICK EXPERT) is a medicinal product for the removal of ticks from the human body by freezing and extracting them with tweezers (included in the package) or another device, e.g. Kleszcz OUT (Tick OUT), which helps to prevent the occurrence of tick-borne diseases.
How it works
CAUTION – Once you find a tick, you should remove it immediately in order to reduce the risk of infection with harmful pathogenic agents.
Traditional methods for removing ticks from the skin may be dangerous to people. There is the risk of infection with tick-borne diseases. While being mechanically removed in a standard way, an irritated tick may release harmful substances containing various pathogenic agents into the human body. Freezing the tick helps to protect the body from the consequences of infection, from the moment of freezing.
KLESZCZ EXPERT freezes ticks with the use of gas stored in a pressurised container.
Please make sure that you observe the precautions described later in this manual.
Application
Remember to shake the container before each use. Point the dispenser towards the tick. The distance from the tick should be 2 – 3 cm. Press the dispenser all the way in order to freeze the tick. This will release the amount of preparation needed for the effective freezing. If the tick is still moving, repeat the procedure. This action may be performed in the same place on the skin up to three times. Remove the frozen tick with the tweezers included in the package. After removing the tick, disinfect the place where the tick has been attached to the skin. Wash your hands thoroughly with water and soap or disinfect them.
CAUTION! Removal of a tick does not entirely exclude or prevent the possibility of infection with tick-borne diseases. If you notice any alarming symptoms (such as erythema) after removing the tick, consult a doctor.
After using the preparation, a temporary skin reaction may occur in the form of irritation or redness caused by the cold propellant contained in the product. This has no adverse effect on the skin.
Contraindications to the use of the product

First aid
Inhalation of the product – the patient should be moved outdoors. If the symptoms persist, consult a doctor immediately.
Eye contact with the product – rinse residual gas with plenty of water. In case of prolonged eye irritation, consult a doctor immediately.
Skin contact with the product – wait until the product evaporates and then rinse the skin with warm water. If you notice frostbites, consult a doctor immediately.
Warnings and precautions
The product must be administered in accordance with its intended use, and the use directions must be observed, along with all the precautions listed below.
- Apply the product in ventilated rooms in accordance with its intended use.
- Avoid inhalation of vapour caused by the freezing of the tick – inhalation of the product may cause dizziness.
- Intentional inhalation of the product may pose a serious threat to the life and health of the user.
- The product is intended for external use.
- Avoid contact with eyes and do not spray them with the product.
- Avoid contact with mouth and nose mucous membranes.
- Using more doses than recommended by the manufacturer may cause frostbites.
- Do not apply the product on pathologically affected skin.
