Information
The MediTemp Sanity electronic thermometer is a device that provides a quick, accurate and safe alternative to mercury thermometers. Approximate measurement time is 40 seconds for oral and rectal measurements and 1 minute for axillary measurements. The MediTemp thermometer has the following functions: an automatic beep at the end of the measurement, the function of automatically saving the last result and a battery replacement indicator on the display.

Directions for use
Measurements can be taken orally, rectally and in the armpit.
- To turn the device on, press the on / off button, the thermometer should emit a short beep and display the display test for 2 seconds.
- The last temperature measured will then be displayed with an “M” in the right corner.
- The display will show 37.0 ° C (or 98.6 ° F).
- “Lo” and ° C (° F) flashing means the thermometer is ready to measure temperature. However, if the ambient temperature is higher than 32.0 ° C (89.6 ° F), the room temperature will be displayed instead of “Lo”.
- To turn off the thermometer, press the on / off button (the thermometer turns off automatically after about 10 minutes of inactivity).
Precautions
• The thermometer should only be used under adult supervision.
• Do not walk, run or talk while taking the temperature.
• Store the thermometer in its protective case when not in use.
• Sunlight, dust, or moisture will damage the device, so avoid extreme temperatures and adverse storage conditions.
• The thermometer should not be exposed to any shocks.
• Do not disassemble the thermometer components except during the battery replacement procedure.
• Before and after each use, wipe the thermometer with a soft cloth mixed with isopropyl alcohol diluted with water, or wash it in cold soapy water.
