Improves fitness

Supports the stimulating nursing of the patient. Makes it easier for patients to pull themselves up to a sitting position by putting their legs over the edge of the bed by themselves and sitting on its edge. It allows the position in the bed to be changed, which prevents bedsores. The ladder can be used for doing rehabilitation exercises to strengthen the arm, back and shoulder muscles. It is a support in deep breathing (prevents pneumonia) and during nursing activities such as, for example, plumping up the pillows.

Instructions for use

The length of the ladder (approx. 1.80 m) means that it can be attached to any type of bed, not only a hospital one. The ladder is mounted by tying on the loose rope ends to the patient’s bed.

The ladder can be shortened by putting the appropriate rungs through each other – e.g. the third rung through the sixth one.

While the patient is getting up from a lying position, the carer can gently hold his or her head and chest. In this way the patient receives the necessary support, while at the same time relieving the carer physically.

Keep out of the reach of children and mentally disabled persons.
Consult a doctor or qualified nursing staff before a patient with partial paralysis is allowed to use the ladder.
If damaged, destroy and throw the product away.
