How to use
- Tear the Tab
- Pour breastmilk into storage bag
- Press the double zip-lock
- Stack the bags in refrigerator/freezer
To store milk
- Wash hand thoroughly before handling.
- Expressed breastmilk should be labeled the date and time accordingly on the storage bag.The oldest milk should be consumed first.
- Tear the top tab of the bag and open the double zip-lock.
- Pour expressed breast carefully into the bag.
- Milk expands during freezing so do not fill the bag with more than 12OZ/350ml as recommended.Remove as much air as possible before sealing the bag.
- Generally,breastmilk can be stored in a refrigerator for up to 5 days or in a freezer for up to 4 months.
To warm milk
- Open the seal of the double zip-lock milk storage bag.
- If milk stored in refrigerator:Pour breastmilk carefully into a feeding bottle for warming.
- If milk stored in freezer:Thaw frozen breastmilk in refrigerator first or under flowing water.
Do not thaw frozen breastmilk using microwave,warmer or in boiling water.Pour breastmilk carefully into a feeding bottle for warming.
Caution
- Do not heat milk in the storage bag using microwave, warmer or soak in hot water.
- Discard the bag after single use. Unused milk should be discarded too.
